"Zeus is a wonderful, good-tempered Frenchie that is just a fur baby of love. He does not have an aggressive bone in his body. Zeus requires a little more of your time during the day with his special needs but what you get back is a best friend who thinks you are the best. The home I want for Zeus is one where he is the center of attention. I would not want him to get lost in a large family. Even though I have a fur baby of my own he sleeps and lays next to me when we are on the sofa. If you are looking for a fur baby to snuggle and love on Zeus is your match. He may be a little slower walking but he doesn't know he isn't any different than any other Frenchie."

Gorgeous Zeus is ready to find the perfect forever home! Zeus is an adorable boy that is looking for a home that understands his special needs. He is a sweet love bug who would like nothing better than to play ball and spend time with his favorite people all day long.

A typical day for Zeus involves rambling around in the yard and following his favorite person around. Once back in the house, he loves to chew on antlers or Nylabones. Balls are his favorite toy and he loves to play catch! You can always find Zeus when he is playing with his ball. You just follow the slobber trail he leaves behind and it will lead you right to him! Zeus is generally a happy guy and up for just about anything. In addition to playing with his ball and chew toys he likes car rides, walks, playing tug, small squeaky toys, and snuggling.

Zeus's new home could have other playful friendly dogs as Zeus really enjoys playtime. Zeus will need to be adopted by a family who has a stay-at-home or work-from-home person since he needs to have a steady potty schedule. Zeus's family should have a fenced yard for potty breaks and playtime. Zeus is a great dog to bring to the office as long as you can take him out for multiple potty breaks! And did we mention that Zeus should not be left alone for too long as he has a tendency to make messes with his poop? If you are not watching and ready to redirect him, he will try to eat his poop or smear it and make a mess. And he doesn’t seem the least bit embarrassed by his behavior! Most important is that Zeus finds a forever home with a patient and loving family.

Zeus's foster mom has this to share about him, "Zeus is a wonderful, good-tempered Frenchie that is just a fur baby of love.

If you would like to adopt Zeus, be prepared to travel. Zeus is being fostered in Southeastern Louisiana and will not be shipped. FBRN does not ship dogs as cargo, so adopters are expected to pick up their dogs from their foster family.

FBRN dogs are in foster care in people’s private homes. For the foster families’ safety, we do not disclose specific locations and we do not set up meet and greets prior to applications. For detailed information about the dogs in our care, please read the extensive bios on each dog.

About Zeus:

Zeus has several allergies including feathers and must avoid feather pillows and down blankets. Also note food allergies in the attached report. It is important to make sure food ingredients do not contain his allergens. He must remain on regular Cytopoint injections.

Zeus has a history of skin and ear infections that must be monitored closely for recurrence. Zeus should also remain on a daily probiotic.

Zeus has brachycephalic airway syndrome. He had a nares resection performed on 6/26/2021. He must wear a harness when going for walks, never a collar or choke chain.

Zeus has limited hind end mobility and must always be carried up and down stairs and must not be allowed to jump up on and off of furniture. He will need to continue on acupuncture therapy. He should not go through cold laser therapy as he has shown adverse reactions to that treatment.

Zeus does wear a belly band due to urinary incontinence.
