Please welcome the newest beauty to the FBRN family – Lara. This sweet girl was surrendered due to her ongoing health issues. Lara has a history of allergies and chronic dry eye. We’re happy to help and would like to give a shout-out and big THANKS to the lovely FBRN volunteers who transported Lara to her foster home. Lara’s foster family is ready to give her the love and care she needs to get in tip-top shape and be ready for her forever home!

Lara is approximately 8 years old and has been spayed. We believe that she is blind, but will know more after her veterinary exam. Lara clearly adores her people and wants to be with them all the time! She has some separation anxiety when she realizes that her people aren’t close by. This is understandable for a blind dog who is in a new environment and this behavior may improve as she settles in.

Once the slow introductions are complete, we’ll have more to report on how Lara interacts with her four-legged foster siblings. For now, we know that Lara loves her walks and is a BIG fan of food. Any kind of food, this sweetheart is not a picky eater!
