Please give a warm hello, or better yet a merhaba, to new foster Noah! This pied darling is fresh off a journey across the Atlantic—not in an ark, but in a plane—after he was found as a stray in Turkey.

After having his life flipped turned upside down, we expected that Noah would need some time to decompress and acclimate himself to his new surroundings. Nope! It took him approximately 30 seconds to make himself at home with his foster family, and they report that he is the perfect houseguest (save for a couple unfortunate incidents involving leg lifting and a dining room chair). Foster mom tells us that Noah is a chill, relaxed boy who gets along with everyone he meets and is sweet as Turkish delight. And did we mention that he’s handsome? Swoon.

Unfortunately, Noah picked up some unwanted hitchhikers on the mean streets of Istanbul (not Constantinople). He tested positive for both Giardia and tapeworms, and also contracted a case of kennel cough. Noah suffers from epilepsy, which is controlled with twice-daily medication. Luckily, Noah takes his pills like a champ and is already starting to feel much better.

At only two(ish) years old, Noah has a long life ahead of him here in North America, but he’ll need a little help along the way!
