Please welcome the sweet, petite Peppa to the FBRN family. Peppa was surrendered to a shelter by her previous family due to financial issues and FBRN stepped in and sprung her from the shelter. Peppa was in rough shape, but has really come around in just a few weeks, thanks to the excellent and loving care of her foster family.

Peppa is truly petite at just 13 pounds. She is about three years old, and as you can see from the pictures, she’s a beauty. Her foster mom has started her on a new diet which seems to have alleviated her GI troubles, except for the dreaded Frenchie gas! We will know more after her upcoming vet visit, but we suspect she has spine and/or hind-end problems.

Personality-wise, Miss Peppa is alert, curious, and very loving. Her smiles get even bigger with her morning scratches! She is not thrilled with her crate, but does settle and sleep there. Peppa likes being part of everything and she’s been enjoying walks with her foster fur-siblings. We’re told she has a penchant for dried earth worms and other sidewalk treasures, so it’s best to keep a close eye on her during walks. She’s a spunky little thing, but at the end of the day, Peppa is happy to snuggle into your lap and be your cuddle bug.

Peppa’s foster family is working hard to make sure she is ready for a forever home when the time comes. In the meantime, if you would like to sponsor Peppa, please click on the link above. Peppa arrived with one toy, which she loves, but she’s very light on belongings. FBRN, her foster family and Peppa all appreciate your support.
