Meet the newest member of the FBRN family, Unie! This cream-colored, 7-year-old was surrendered to FBRN when his previous home could no longer provide the time required to properly care for him. Unie came into FBRN terrified, but he is slowly settling in and starting to get better as his foster mom continues to work with him.

Unie had some itchy patches when he arrived and we suspect allergies, but will know more after his initial veterinary exam. Otherwise, he seems to be in good health. Initially, he refused to go up and down stairs, but foster mom was able to show him that stairs are okay. Foster mom also quickly figured out that a night light helps him sleep through the whole night!

Unie is currently working on leash training, and we’ve noticed that he prefers to do his business on concrete. This will be a work in progress to introduce him to the wonders of grass! Unie has some issues to overcome in order to go to the available page, but with time, love, and confidence we know that he will make his way there and into a forever home that is perfect for him.

If you have an extra dollar or two that was left over from summer vacation, please consider donating it to Unie for his vet visit or maybe just for something comforting and snuggly! All you need to do is click the link to sponsor him.
